Graphically the game is vibrant and fluid. With combat set to max speed, it played with near the same fluidity of the 2D heroes [aka, much faster than 5]. Units feel responsive and don't have silly buffer animations before they perform the action ordered.

I know that Might & Magic Heroes 7 was not well received and it had many flaws, bugs and bad AI but Im surprised that not alot of people are aware of the huge 7.5 Ultimate modification. It basically not only fixes what was wrong with the original (including improved AI and fixing tons of bugs) but also adds 5 new factions and much more content.

Ubisoft might like to have a loss-leading HoMM game when it leads potential buyers to subscribe to Ubisoft game services. I do not seeing them announcing anything of significance. In fact I would probably bet money that we do not see an announcement in the next five years. Heroes VII fumbled, way harder than it should have in my opinion. A lavishly produced sequel to the turn-based strategy game series, Heroes of Might and Magic V offers six intertwined single-player campaigns with six factions, each lasting scores of hours. You'll command a Hero and his army, building the power of each during battles with marvelously animated creatures and other powerful Heroes. The game has a long-lasting gameplay, outstanding musical score and cheese-Wiz dialogue. Heroes 5 is legitimately good. After Heroes 4 changed some of the core mechanics of the franchise, Heroes 5 makes a nice return to (mostly) traditional Heroes gameplay. It has a few quirks, such as the battle camera and perceived map size, but there are also some nice additions, such as the initiative system. SNmWA.
