DG took a while to get going but eventually hooked me. Days Gone has a better story, characters, and world than Part 2. Part 2 has much better delivery on story and character interactions. However ,that story and character are also pure dogshit, so there you go.

The original game was really held back by the technology at that time. If Part 1 would have been developed at the end of the PS4 life cycle it would no doubt be the better game. Part 1 is my favorite of the two. But the environments, gameplay, animations, and details of Part 2 make it the better overall game. 13.
